Iuma is an environmental professional and educator with over seven years of hands-on experience in environmental science, coastal and marine management, hydrometeorology, climate resilience and disaster risk reduction across Vanuatu and Western Australia. He has also taught secondary school, served as Academic Principal at Aore Adventist Academy (2009), and worked as a multimedia specialist producing awareness materials on disaster preparedness and the environment.
